Staff Nurse

1. Provide round-the-clock nursing care to admitted patients in the wards, covering vitals, hygiene, comfort and observation as per the nursing care plan.
2. Administer oral, injectable and IV medicines and fluids exactly as prescribed, following the rights of medication administration and recording every dose.
3. Assist doctors during ward rounds, bedside procedures and emergencies, carry out treatment orders and prepare patients for surgery, investigations and transfers.
4. Monitor intake-output, drains, catheters and wounds, escalate early signs of deterioration, and explain treatment and discharge advice to patients and families.
5. Maintain nursing notes, medication charts and shift handover, and follow patient identification, fall and bed-sore prevention and NABH infection control protocols.
